How to request deletion of your Nourli account and data

1.How to Delete Your Account
You can request permanent deletion of your Nourli account and all associated data using either method below.
Option 1: Delete from within the app
- Open Nourli and go to Settings
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
- Type DELETE to confirm
- Your account and all data are permanently erased immediately
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you no longer have access to the app or cannot log in, send an email to:
privacy@nourli.healthInclude the email address associated with your Nourli account. We will verify your identity and process your deletion request within 30 days, though most requests are completed within 48 hours.
You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.
2.What Data Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently and irreversibly erased from our servers:
- Account profile (email, name, age, height, weight, activity level)
- Food entries and AI nutrition analysis results
- Water intake history
- Weight measurements
- Burned calories records
- Goals and nutrition targets
- Fasting sessions
- AI coach conversations
- Achievements and progress data
- App settings and preferences
- Data exports (if any)
- RevenueCat subscription record (GDPR deletion)
3.Data Retention After Deletion
Nourli does not retain any personal data after account deletion. Specifically:
- All personal data listed above is permanently erased with no recovery period
- Food photos are never stored on our servers - they are processed in memory only and discarded immediately after AI analysis
- Anonymous, aggregated analytics data (which cannot identify you) may be retained for service improvement
4.Subscriptions
Deleting your Nourli account does not automatically cancel your subscription. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, you must cancel separately:
Google Play
Open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Find Nourli and tap Cancel.
App Store
Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Find Nourli and tap Cancel Subscription.
Web (Stripe)
If you subscribed on the web, your billing is cancelled automatically when your account is deleted. No further action is needed.
5.Export Your Data First
Before deleting your account, you may want to export a copy of your data. Nourli supports full data export in JSON or CSV format.
To export: open Nourli, go to Settings, and tap Export Data. You will receive a download link valid for 24 hours. If you cannot access the app, email privacy@nourli.health to request an export before deletion.
