By accessing and using Nourli ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our Service, including our mobile web app and Progressive Web Application (PWA).

Description of Service

Nourli is an AI-powered nutrition tracking application that helps users:

• Log food intake through photo analysis using artificial intelligence
• Track calories, macronutrients, and nutritional information
• Set and monitor nutrition goals
• View analytics and progress reports
• Manage user profiles and dietary preferences

Our Service uses OpenAI's GPT-4 technology to analyze food photos and provide nutritional estimates. These are estimates and should not replace professional medical or nutritional advice.

User Accounts and Beta Access

To use our Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

Beta Access: During the beta period, access requires an invite code. Beta users receive full access to all features at no cost. When the beta period ends, continued use will require a paid subscription.

Subscription and Billing

After the beta period ends, continued use requires a Premium subscription at $20/month, which includes:

• AI-powered food analysis
• Complete nutrition tracking
• Advanced analytics and insights
• Data export and full history access

Subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Billing is handled securely through Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

Our AI-powered nutritional analysis provides estimates only and should not be considered medical advice. The Service is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

• Nutritional values are estimates and may not be 100% accurate
• Always consult healthcare professionals for dietary and medical advice
• The Service is not suitable for managing medical conditions without professional oversight
• Users with food allergies or dietary restrictions should verify all information independently

Privacy and Data Handling

We are committed to protecting your privacy:

• No Photo Storage: Food photos are processed in memory and never stored on our servers
• Data Security: Personal and nutrition data is encrypted and stored securely
• Third-Party Services: We use Supabase for data storage and OpenAI for image analysis
• Analytics: We collect anonymous usage data to improve the Service

Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

Service Availability

While we strive to provide reliable service, we do not guarantee:

• Continuous, uninterrupted access to the Service
• Error-free operation or complete accuracy of AI analysis
• Compatibility with all devices or internet connections
• Availability during maintenance periods or system updates

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nourli shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, incurred by you or any third party.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through:

• Email notification to registered users
• In-app notifications
• Updates to this page with revised effective date

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
